Nicholas Edward Williams (Whetherman)

Nicholas Edward Williams

Formerly known as Whetherman, Nicholas and his wife moved to Chattanooga several months ago after years of  touring 10 months per year. Folks often ask me how I find artists, and this one was found in a rare way: an inquiry from his agent. I listened to the pitch that day, and was so impressed that in a few short minutes, I booked this gentleman I’d never heard of before. I think you will be equally impressed. He seems to have the heart of Pete Seeger and the energy and songwriting skills of more contemporary folk musicians. There might be some sing-alongs and audience participation. I expect a super fun show! More details soon! Here are a few song samples and a longish interview at a Chattanooga Public Library. Incidentally, the female interviewer in this link was in my Lakeland Girl Scout troop in the late 1990s or early 2000s (Lesley Dale). Small world, huh?

  1. My wife and I would like to come to Jesse’s concert. Haven’t seen him live since he played with my brother Bill Rowen in Guilford CT years ago. Love his music! Now we live in Plant City it would be a shame not to drive over and see him. I can’t find the address of your home on the site. Hope you have room for us!
